Wednesday…Mid Week … Day 13 was beautiful 90 degree weather, but what happened to spring? Warm weather does mean more Lake time…but no lake time for me today. Instead I got to hang out with some pretty rad 6th graders from a local school. I have to say, I laughed a lot the the 6th graders and got to hear alot about quading.
When I came home, I went to water my lil’ garden and found out that my broccoli was flowering and my roommate, Anna’s, strawberries were starting to fruit!
The moment I had been waiting for all day was to come home to a house full of friends and begin our 24 Marathon. The past few months a few of my friends have been getting together, once a week, to watch the first season of 24. Since the end of the school year is coming, we decided to finish of the season (episode 18-24) in one night! As of right now (as in I am typing this as we are watching 24), we are on episode 23….the season is coming to an end. I have to admit, I am a bit saddened for this season to end, no more guessing what the time is, random accents, laughing or gathering of friends each week. I am thankful for this amazing group of friends and am excited for their upcoming adventures. These are my Day 13 friends and a new thing for me! I’ve never been to a 24 marathon before!
Here’s to turning 30!!
P.S. Love Wins
After hanging out with 6th graders today, I thought about my middle school years. I think I was in 7th or 8th grade here. This is our first ever cousin photo on my mom’s side of the family.
